Departure from Kiev to Kharkiv by

11.00 Excursion around Kharkiv.
Excursion route passes through the central part of the city. For your attention we present the historical center of Kharkiv - University Hill, where the history of our city according to written sources originates. You will see many monuments associated with the past and present of Kharkiv: from its legendary foundation until to this day.
Dinner.
15.30 Excursion around Kharkiv part 2.
Here the theme of excursion may be chosen (the Holy places of Kharkiv or The Kharkiv Memorials ).

Day 3

08.00 Departure to Poltava.
10.00 Excursion around Poltava and visit to the Battle of Poltava Museum.
Poltava - one of the most beautiful parts of Ukraine. It is especially beautiful at the time of the blooming flowering gardens. The Poltava region is proud of its historic sites and it invites willingly all guests. An excursion trip to Poltava: the center area with the buildings of government offices, The Ivanova Mountain. A visit to the historical-cultural reserve "The Field of Poltava Battle"- dedicated to the decisive event of the Northern War of 1700-1721. Many invaluable historical relics are stored in the Battle of Poltava.
Dinner in the Ukrainian village restaurant – also a little show in the area and a Horse Sleigh ride.
14.50 Departure to Oposhnya.
15.30 Excursion to the Pottery Museum in Oposhnya.
The National Museum-Reserve of pottery in Oposhnya. TheMuseum and the history of the craft, the process and the Oposhnyan masters´ final products, which have found their place in the best museums of the world. The visitors have the opportunity to admire the work of these masters and to
purchase their own unique souvenirs.
Departure to Kharkiv.
Possible option:
A visit to the Ukrainian Wedding Museum instead of the Pottery Museum in Oposhnya.
After Dinner departure to the Velikie Budishev village.
Visiting the Ukrainian Wedding Museum with a dramatized show of Ukrainian wedding with entertainment.
A Horse Sleigh ride.
Departure to Kharkiv.

Day 4
Breakfast.
08.00 Departure to Svyatogorsk.
Short stop in Izum.
10.45 Excursion to the Svyatogorsk Monastery.
The Svyatogorsk Monastery - Third functioning monastery in The Ukrainian territory. In a unique location – the chalk mountains.
A walking excursion to the abbey - about 5 km route, visiting the whole ensemble of the monastery and a part of the National Natural Park - «Holy Mountains».

17.00 Departure to Kharkiv.

Day 5
Early Breakfast
08.00 Departure to the Khortitsya Island.
12.00 The Cossack Horse Theatre show.
The program includes elements of vaulting, Jighitovka (stunt riding), whip handling, Cossack games and entertainment.
Dinner.
Excursion to the Khortitsya Island Reserve area.
The Zaporizhzhya Cossacks Museum on the Khortitsya Island was opened in 14.10.1983. Today the Museum has a collection of more than 30 000 items. It covers the historical period from the Palaeolithic times to the 19th century and also the current era. This exhibiton area has four complete dioramas. The elements of design in this space itself - the granite plates, tightly built one to one - create the impression of visitors moving like in a cave. Near to the walls lie the silent relics.
