Kiev is the capital of Ukraine. The centre of Kiev is stretched on 35 km from the east to the West and 42 km from the north to the south along picturesque coast of the Dnieper River.
It is one of the oldest cities in Europe. It was founded in the 5th century. The city is known as the mother of Russian cities. Kiev territory is 827 square kilometers in size and it includes 14 administrative areas. Only 42% of the city’s territory area is built. The rest of the territory is for reservoirs, green fields, rivers and parks.
