Where else can you spend an evening on the eve of Ivan Kupala and meet the midsummer midnight, if not at home of Nikolai Gogol?
In Gogolevo waiting for you is: an exhibition of paintings, embroidery, ceramics made by the Ukrainian craftsmen, folk festivals: dance, dances around the campfire, performances of folklore groups, games and contests, big midsummer bonfire. Interweaving Christian beliefs with ancient pagan symbols. The magical moment of meeting with the miracle at midnight! On the night of 6th to 7th night comes Wonderland- a holiday of Ivan Kupala, a time when the legends can be seen from bloomingfern, purified by jumping over the fire, and to find Mr Right, throwing awreath into the water.
Return to Kharkiv in the morning.
