Air

Nowadays many big international airlines - for example Delta Airlines, Czech Airlines, Air Baltic and Finnair - make regular flights to Ukraine. The major airports are situated in Kiev, Kharkov, Donetsk, Lviv, Simferopol and Odessa.

Kiev has the most active airport in the country - The Boryspil International Airport. The Airport locates about 30 kilometers from the center of Kiev. From the Airport it is possible to travel by tax or by a minibus.

Sea

The southern cities of Odessa, Sevastopol and Yalta have their own characteristic seaports. At this moment it is not possible to travel by sea from Yalta to Odessa. But for example in Yalta there are daily boat excursions to the Black Sea.

Train

Maybe the easiest and less costly way to travel inside Ukraine is by train. And by train you can reach almost any corner of this large country. Be it winter or summer - train will get you to your destination and on time. That is why the Ukrainian people themselves prefer traveling by train.

Metro

Kiev, Kharkov and Dnipropetrovsk have their own metro systems. We recommend using metro train when traveling in these cities. It will get you from one place to another in no time. And one must not forget the architectural beauty of some of these beautifully build metro stations.

Taxi

Naturally in every city you can also use taxi cars. The taxi can be ordered by phone. Or in the street walking you just raise your hand if you need a taxi. Remember to agree on the cost of the fare before the taxi trip begins.

Marshrutka

Also a very common way of transportation is marshrutka - a taxi van. This way it is easy and fast to travel with a group - for example 5 to 20 people. Marshrutkas provide also trips from one city to another.
